Description:
Everyone has their rough nights, but things have clearly taken a turn for the surreal when Angel, a young photographer, finds a group of drunken teenagers in the courtyard of his apartment building, taunting a young troll.

Trolls are known in Scandinavian mythology as wild beasts, like the werewolf; but this troll is just a small, wounded creature. Angel offers it a safe haven for the night. In the morning Angel thinks he dreamt it all. But he finds the troll both alive and drinking from his toilet. What does one do with a troll in the city? Angel begins researching frantically.

After searching the Internet, folklore, nature journals, and newspaper clippings, his research doesn't tell him that trolls exude pheromones that have a profound aphrodisiac effect on the gay men around him. As Angel's life changes beyond recognition, it becomes clear that the troll may take him across lines he never thought he'd cross.

Qvamp says:

Engaging and a quick read, this story deals with a gay man who finds a rare and almost mythical troll cub. After nursing the cub back to health he finds himself drawn sexually to the cub from its pheromones, eventually leaving his entire life behind to protect it.

Though engaging, the story leaves a lot of questions in the readers mind, such as how an intelligent species is known only to one man and not to any scientist on the planet.

But if you want a fun story with an unusual premise, this novel is a treat.
