Writer-directory-producer Edward D. Wood Jr. was and infamous B-movie director who had a taste for women's clothing. He was also the creator of some of the most bizarre, and the most memorable, 'B' movies ever. Though Wood died in obscurity as an alcoholic in 1978, his films have been considered cult classics for years. He is consistently voted the worst director who ever lived.


	Qvamp says: This movie is technically not horror, but does deal with the life of the horror movie creator with the name of the film. Openly transsexual Ed Wood produced a large number of campy b-horror films including Plan Nine from Outer Space. He also directed Glen or Glenda, one of the first films about transsexuals. His pulp novels featuring this character(s) included some dark thrillers.
