Description:
A collection of GLBT horror 'flash fiction,' stories under 1000 words.

Qvamp says:

'Flash Fiction' was a new term for me. In this collection it means stories that are 1,000 words or less. Because of this limitation the stories do not offer complex character development or plots. But what they do offer is a remarkable way to investigate concepts or situations that don't warrant a whole novel. Sometimes a scene is all you need to explore a new subject; a single terrifying image can be just the right amount.

I found this collection to be a great addition to the queer horror genre. Though some of the stories felt like setups for a punch-line, others were very well written with intriguing subjects or monstrous characters. And the characters did cover the spectrum, including unusual subjects like: carnivorous houses, sea monster, banshees, Greek gods, killer horses, haunted paintings, lesbian ghouls, Laumes, and a dead lesbian cupid hunter; as well as the more typical vampires, ghosts, werewolves and psychopaths.
