Description:
A malevolent witch's curse takes root in the swampy area known as Stink Lake. Now, years later, an artifact is discovered in the lake, and the nearby townspeople become the prey for a supernatural force which bends the environment to its will, dragging unsuspecting victims down with limbs formed of sea weed and moss. The witch is present once more, ready to complete the work she started so long ago. Despite the lurid theme, this is a more thoughtful novel than most of its type, and it builds to a crescendo of chases and escapes in the final chapters.

Qvamp says:

This is a fairly good book, though it can be hard to find. The gay teen-age hero is well portrayed and a sympathetic character who ends up battling against the evil in this book.

A refreshing change of pace where the hero is gay while the villain is not.
