Description:
A werewolf loose in Los Angeles changes the lives of three young adults, who, after being mauled by the beast, learn they must kill their attacker if they hope to change their fate.
Qvamp says: This contains a major character, Bo, who bluntly insinuates that one of the main characters, Jimmy, is gay and delights in tormenting him. He challenges Jimmy to a wrestling match and is bested, while Jimmy points out that the homophobic are often closeted gays. After this, he becomes enamored of Jimmy. Bo comes out to Jimmy whom he always thought was gay, but isn't, and tries to kiss him. While this doesn't happen, the two do become friends. In spite of Bo's bullying towards at beginning of the movie, he is positively portrayed and remains alive at the end. This movie showcases one of the newest trends in queer horror... the queer person must be left alive at the end. The queer person dying because he or she was queer is not only a known plot device, but is also considered fairly homophobic/prejudiced; and modern movies are trying to avoid this. So, while horror movies often contain a queer character, they are more and more often staying alive at the end (though still remaining chaste and alone). |

The story is about two young adults, a brother,Jimmy, and sister,Ellie, who get attacked while trying to help someone they accidentally crashed into. Day by day, they start to notice that they're taking some unique changes, such as super strength, and..'Hairy' issues.
There is a Queer tone to the film, mostly centered around Jimmy and his dealing with one of his high school's bullies,Bo. Jimmy kicks their asses at wrestling, and later on in the film, Bo comes out to Jimmy, with a massive interest in him. Thats where it ends though.
The movie itself is fun and easy to watch, with some great bits where Ellie and Jimmy are discovering their new strengths and such, But when it comes to Queer Horror, It falls slightly flat on its furry ass.
If you're looking for saucy boy on boy action, the most you're gonna get out of this is just an awkward moment.
