This movie is great. It was the best version of the original 'Carmilla' I've ever seen.

This is a masterpiece, chiefly because it's one of the best of the Hammer Horror films of the 1960s, featuring outstanding performances, especially from Ingrid Pitt as Camilla and the great Christopher Lee.

Although the original story tells the story from the young girl's point of view, this one tells it from her father's. The visual imagery is beautifully drawn from the original story, though and the movie works overall! Don't miss this one!
